Primary Computing Curriculum
The Cambridgeshire Progression in Computing Capability Materials
Since September 2014, The National Curriculum for Computing has formed a statutory part of the National Curriculum for maintained schools in England and Wales.
The Cambridgeshire Education ICT Service believes that the best approach to deliver this exciting curriculum is to continue to focus on pupils' computing capability with a strong emphasis on progression and have therefore developed the:
Cambridgeshire Progression in Computing Capability Materials.
On this site, you will find materials to help you plan, assess and resource; all the tools necessary to create an exciting and engaging scheme of work to meet the challenge of the Computing Curriculum. These framework materials are freely available to support schools in building their own, personalised scheme of work for Computing.
How else could we support you?
Through strategic planning meetings, staff meetings, pupils workshops and a wide range of courses, our elearning team have supported many schools through what can often feel like a daunting process; developing staff subject knowledge, deciding on the most appropriate way to plan and assess computing in your schools and finding the most appropriate resources and opportunities for your pupils.
